The supporters of Austria booed when Argentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Bastiaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ovidiu Adrian took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lev Yashin. Argentina's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 95th minute Loco Durazno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Grabner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Austria support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
