Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Toledo in the 3rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, River CBBA's Gabriel Ascaso threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cipriano Abechuco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. River CBBA's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adria Bielsa in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 10th minute of play forced River CBBA's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Ascaso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cipriano Abechuco went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Funes in the 26th minute of play. David Aranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Marcelo Barovero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Abechuco in the 29th minute of play. Gabriel Ascaso made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Juan Funes sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the game, Omar Toledo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marcelo Barovero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The audience was convinced that Endura Abechuco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Ascaso was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. A nice corner shot did that Jon Cubero got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcelo Barovero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 68th minute, Israel Jurado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Israel Jurado kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. River CBBA's Argoitz Abeijon was substituted for Endura Abechuco. After 72 minutes Spain's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Deng Xing Sang who took care of the corner kick. Deng Xing Sang made a great header on River CBBA's corner, it was just that Spain's Gabriel Ascaso managed to reach the ball for a save. Carles Cherro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Marcelo Barovero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves David Aranda could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Marcelo Barovero however easily saved by the left post. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argoitz Abeijon in the 79th minute of play. Spain made a substitution. Sergio Ruiz replaced Adria Bielsa. River CBBA were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Spain's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Deng Xing Sang took the corner. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argoitz Abeijon in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute Cipriano Abechuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arano Abendano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ascaso having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Ruiz came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Spain were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
