Ahmet Vefik Safa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. 4 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Vefik Safa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 8th minute of play forced Doğanyurt FK's goalkeeper Ahmet Vefik Safa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Hungary booed when Doğanyurt FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witalis Duszenski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Balazs Lajos took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Vefik Safa. Ahmet Vefik Safa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Doğanyurt FK's goalkeeper Ahmet Vefik Safa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Timur Sarphan fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Doğanyurt FK's protests and gave Timur Sarphan a yellow card for diving instead. Hungary's Balazs Lajos got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, İlkan İlmen took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Fodor Daniel to make any attempt to save it. Timur Sarphan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Major Barna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Vefik Safa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Major Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahmet Vefik Safa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Major Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Major Barna put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Ahmet Vefik Safa. Ahmet Vefik Safa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 34th minute of the match. İlkan İlmen kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Doğanyurt FK's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Vefik Safa came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Hungary's Takacs Tibor in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Doğanyurt FK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 41st minute Takacs Tibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Vefik Safa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Vefik Safa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Timur Sarphan hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. 51 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Vefik Safa. Doğanyurt FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. After a defensive mix-up in Doğanyurt FK's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Vefik Safa came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Vefik Safa made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. Hungary's Antal Valentin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ahmet Vefik Safa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ahmet Vefik Safa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Antal Valentin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 61 minute of play. If Timur Sarphan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd match minute, Doğanyurt FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ekber Tokuztuğ to maneuver through the defense. İlkan İlmen kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Antal Valentin scored 1-7 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Vefik Safa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When İlkan İlmen fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Doğanyurt FK's protests and gave İlkan İlmen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, İlkan İlmen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Hungary's Takacs Tibor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Vefik Safa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Major Barna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ahmet Vefik Safa. That made the score 1-8 in the 83 minute of play. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Vefik Safa having to interfere. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Vefik Safa having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Antal Valentin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Ahmet Vefik Safa made a huge save. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
