In the 60th minute, Faustão Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Şanver Deniz made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Olívio França sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, André Luís Best took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Şanver Deniz to make any attempt to save it. In the 69th minute, Faustão Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fynn John was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Olívio França could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Şanver Deniz made a huge save. In the 73rd minute Atlético Mineiro were awarded a corner.
