Faustão Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mané Viana having to make a save. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Mané Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustão Costa in the 3rd minute of play. Mané Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustão Costa in the 8th minute of the match. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Mané Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Seftalias in the 10th minute of play. Mané Viana came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Beaumont FC's Faustão Costa. But to his dismay, Faustão Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Faustão Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mané Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustão Costa in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute Faustão Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustão Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mané Viana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Faustão Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. Faustão Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mané Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustão Costa in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Beaumont FC's goalkeeper Şanver Deniz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chico de Brito. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Carneiro in the 43rd minute of play forced Beaumont FC's goalkeeper Şanver Deniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Şanver Deniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Ferreira in the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, Douglas Ferreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Şanver Deniz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vitório da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Faustão Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute Carlinhos de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şanver Deniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Faustão Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Artur Santos was substituted for Douglas Ferreira. Carlinhos de Brito hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. A collision led to Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Vitório da Rocha hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Faustão Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mané Viana was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. With a little luck, Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Mané Viana got control of the ball when Teodoro Mero tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th minute of the match Beaumont FC got a corner. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roddie Griesck ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Roddie Griesck got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mané Viana quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Beaumont FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Beaumont FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
