UÅ Mästerbotten's Sakarias Berggren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César de Queiroz in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Klack in the 23rd minute of play forced Atlético Mineiro's goalkeeper Fynn John to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Atlético Mineiro's César de Queiroz in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 34th minute André Luís Best shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sakarias Berggren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, César de Queiroz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Mineiro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 39 minutes into the match, UÅ Mästerbotten's goal looked a bit too open when César de Queiroz came free, but Sakarias Berggren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fynn John made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sören Klack in the 45th minute of play. In the 47thth minute of the game Sören Klack who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Mineiro's Fynn John was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fynn John stood somewhat misplaced when Sören Klack came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 47 minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Olívio França made the kick off in the second half. Atlético Mineiro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomé Brasil in the 61st minute. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Antony Quaresma took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Sakarias Berggren to make any attempt to save it. 66 minutes into the match, Atlético Mineiro's goal looked a bit too open when Dag Ahlrot came free, but Fynn John reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Atlético Mineiro were awarded a corner. Tomé Brasil went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Atlético Mineiro's corner André Luís Best fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sakarias Berggren quite easily take care of the ball. A hard shot by Tomé Brasil from long distance, 76 minutes into the match, got Sakarias Berggren's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Atlético Mineiro made a substitution. Benê Rodrigues replaced César de Queiroz. A collision led to Atlético Mineiro getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. André Luís Best hit a great ball. Tomé Brasil hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Fynn John made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dag Ahlrot in the 85th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Benê Rodrigues kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sakarias Berggren. That made the score 2-4 in the 86 minute of play.
