The Lunatico F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santiago Gaizko should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Moises Cilio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jānis Pavelskops was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Cilio in the 61st minute of play forced UTC FC's goalkeeper Jānis Pavelskops to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 played minutes UTC FC got a freekick which was hit by Zornin Nava. The supporters of Lunatico F.C booed when UTC FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Velasco Cantu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Gaizko made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Inigo Alfaro sent off a good shot on target. Jānis Pavelskops made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jouke Krol in the 81st minute of play. The Lunatico F.C fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Lunatico F.C's Jouke Krol looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Jouke Krol put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jānis Pavelskops. For all the effort they put into the match, the UTC FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lunatico F.C.
