The Falconer FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niclas Andersson should have stopped the shot. Salva Santa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oskar Vesterberg in the 18th minute. Niclas Andersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chico de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 22 minutes, Verner Giliusson made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Salva Santa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute, Oskar Vesterberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salva Santa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Niclas Andersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chico de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Verner Giliusson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Douglas Ferreira hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salva Santa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. But to his dismay, Chico de Brito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Thanks to some nice moves Alf Brander could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Niclas Andersson however easily saved by the left post. Niclas Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico de Brito in the 66th minute of play. Stig Malm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salva Santa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After 72 played minutes Falconer FC got a freekick which was hit by Allan Henriksson. The supporters of Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ booed when Falconer FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Henriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oskar Vesterberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salva Santa having to make a save.
