After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Francisco Infante quite easily take care of the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Lima Team's goal looked a bit too open when Balazs Lajos came free, but Francisco Infante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacob Barroso's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacob Barroso helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hungary booed when Lima Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacob Barroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herberto Caiado in the 43rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Herberto Caiado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Francisco Infante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takacs Tibor, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The referee ignored Lima Team's protests and gave Caetano Assunção a yellow card for diving instead. Caetano Assunção hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. When Caetano Assunção was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Lima Team's Caetano Assunção got a free kick in the 64th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Francisco Infante in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manfred Schonath hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Infante having to interfere. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Lima Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. Hegedus Henrik was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Herberto Caiado took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herberto Caiado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herberto Caiado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere.
