Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Switzerland's Samuele Kunz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Matthias Ahlstedt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Switzerland's Levi von Herren got a free kick in the 13th minute. Manfred Valström struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Hias Nüssli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Göteborg. Håkan Deckbergh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuele Kunz in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Ahlstedt came free, but Hias Nüssli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo von Känel kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. If Samuele Kunz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Håkan Deckbergh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuele Kunz in the 32nd minute of play. But to his dismay, Tang Xi Qing quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tang Xi Qing was the one to do the kick off. Ludwig Brandin got a throw-in 53 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Vitaliy Krylatov. Håkan Deckbergh made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Jacinto Maurer sent off a good shot on target. Jacinto Maurer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tang Xi Qing in the 65th minute of play. Hias Nüssli didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when IFK Göteborg's Tang Xi Qing shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. If Tang Xi Qing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 80 minutes, Matthias Ahlstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Göteborg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthias Ahlstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tang Xi Qing in the 82nd minute of play forced Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. IFK Göteborg's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Samuele Kunz scored to the left of an out of position Håkan Deckbergh, making the score, 3-1. A collision led to Switzerland getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Rodrigo von Känel hit a great ball. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tang Xi Qing in the 89th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. IFK Göteborg were victorious despite being under pressure from Switzerland for much of the match.
