Gustaaf Groeneveldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anıl Baran Fırat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran back to his position shaking his head. Anıl Baran Fırat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Gust Ennemans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anıl Baran Fırat. MURAT KARAKOÇ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gust Ennemans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anıl Baran Fırat having to interfere. Anıl Baran Fırat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wim Wilmes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anıl Baran Fırat having to make a save. After 34 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anıl Baran Fırat was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anıl Baran Fırat. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Latif Bican made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Bas Tuitert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Anıl Baran Fırat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. 57 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anıl Baran Fırat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Okan Nursal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. Latif Bican sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Lars Meesters reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anıl Baran Fırat. The goal made the score 0-7. In the 68th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute, Bas Tuitert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 楚霖镇 charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 楚霖镇 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 played minutes MURAT KARAKOÇ got a freekick which was hit by 楚霖镇. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, MURAT KARAKOÇ's Anıl Baran Fırat got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emirşah Açıkel hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Anıl Baran Fırat came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Netherlands booed when MURAT KARAKOÇ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Furkan Erşahin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anıl Baran Fırat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
