The supporters of Hungary booed when FC Nordsjælland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Schjelderup didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 17 minutes of play, Hungary's Antal Valentin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andreas Hansen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benjamin Nygren hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Hansen having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, FC Nordsjælland's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Andreas Hansen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andreas Hansen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after FC Nordsjælland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th minute, Boros Benedek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the FC Nordsjælland defense, Antal Valentin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andreas Hansen. The FC Nordsjælland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andreas Hansen should have stopped the shot. After having played for 47 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
