After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for İsa Fındık to strike the kick off in the second half. Felipe Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Blanco Dueñas made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Blanco Dueñas in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute, Felipe Barreto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Blanco Dueñas. The goal made the score 4-4. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto.
