In the 5th minute, Gong Yuan Zheng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Gong Yuan Zheng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Gong Yuan Zheng put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fodor Daniel. The supporters of Akranes booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balazs Lajos didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gong Yuan Zheng in the 18th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 21st minute of the match. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Gong Yuan Zheng tried to sneak it across the goal line. Akranes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hulki Okyanus in the 28th minute. The corner ended in Hulki Okyanus almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel did a great save. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Glói Emilsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mjölnir Vilmarsson in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Bolli Kjaransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Fodor Daniel managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Akranes's Gong Yuan Zheng fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 45th minute of the match, Mjölnir Vilmarsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fodor Daniel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jean Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 47th minute. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Akranes's Jean Viana did a great save. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Akranes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Takacs Tibor managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gong Yuan Zheng to make the kick off. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hulki Okyanus in the 53rd minute of play. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gong Yuan Zheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gong Yuan Zheng in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glói Emilsson in the 72nd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Gong Yuan Zheng came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Balazs Lajos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hulki Okyanus in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 84 minutes, Hulki Okyanus made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hungary's Fodor Daniel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Glói Emilsson sped through Hungary's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. After 91 played minutes Akranes got a freekick which was hit by Glói Emilsson. After 92 minutes of play, Hungary's Takacs Tibor made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jean Viana was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Akranes's Gong Yuan Zheng in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hungary's goalie prevented a goal. Hungary's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
