When Masters United F.C.'s Florencio Rafe in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Romania's goalie prevented a goal. Florencio Rafe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carol Stinga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Masters United F.C.'s zone, Adam Olaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Bologna came out of the goal and Adam Olaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romania's Costica Vladimiri got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Costica Vladimiri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florencio Rafe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Carol Stinga made a huge save. In the 18th minute, Eugen Ionita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hans-Martin Istad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Carol Stinga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carol Stinga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans-Martin Istad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Costica Vladimiri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Bologna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Masters United F.C.'s Enrique Bologna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Olaru in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Masters United F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adam Olaru was slow to take the kick. During this time Romania's players had a chance to rest. Alex Serban was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 30 minutes of play, Romania's Adam Olaru made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Bologna was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th minute of the match Romania got a corner. Masters United F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adam Olaru ran over to the corner to take the kick. 35 minutes into the match, Masters United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Vasile Ciumak came free, but Enrique Bologna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Bologna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Serban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Costica Vladimiri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Bologna was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. In the 43rd minute Rasvan Cristescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Bologna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Rasvan Cristescu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Masters United F.C.'s Enrique Bologna. Enrique Bologna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adam Olaru took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Bologna. Enrique Bologna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florencio Rafe to strike the kick off in the second half. Enrique Bologna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Olaru in the 52nd minute of the match. Enrique Bologna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Olaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Masters United F.C.'s Herminio Frantzes was substituted for Celso Hotz. Romania made a substitution. Anton Stinga replaced Adam Olaru. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Masters United F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sanda Cutov was slow to take the kick. During this time Romania's players had a chance to rest. 64 minutes into the match, Masters United F.C.'s goalkeeper Enrique Bologna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costica Vladimiri. 68 minutes into the match, Masters United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Anton Stinga came free, but Enrique Bologna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Masters United F.C.'s goalkeeper Enrique Bologna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rasvan Cristescu. Enrique Bologna was a little too slow when Anton Stinga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-4. Romania's Alexandru Pangratiu was substituted for Alex Serban. In the 80th minute Saverio Teofilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carol Stinga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Masters United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alexandru Pangratiu came free, but Enrique Bologna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 played minutes Masters United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Pirro. When Florencio Rafe came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Masters United F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Rafe couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavian Vaduva in the 95th minute of play forced Masters United F.C.'s goalkeeper Enrique Bologna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Masters United F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Romania were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
