A throw-in in the 14th minute of the game was made by Arturo Remicio with Isidro Derwin as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Santtu Marttinen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peep Pronk in the 15th minute of the match. When Ronaldinho Paranaense came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldinho Paranaense couldn't finish the play. Peep Pronk scored 2-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santtu Marttinen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peep Pronk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Santtu Marttinen came out and tried to block the shot, but Peep Pronk slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 22nd minute. The supporters of AC LeX Luthor booed when JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Remicio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Martxelin in the 31st minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Fulgencio Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santtu Marttinen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peep Pronk in the 32nd minute of play. Santtu Marttinen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Peep Pronk showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 35 minute of play. In the 40th match minute, AC LeX Luthor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Yepes to maneuver through the defense. If Pedro Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Santtu Marttinen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peep Pronk in the 59th minute of the match. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS's Santtu Marttinen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Savion in the 67th minute of play. After 69 played minutes, AC LeX Luthor's Rodion Nikitin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Santtu Marttinen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AC LeX Luthor reached it. 72 minutes into the match, Aristide Ciuvică notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS's Santtu Marttinen. Santtu Marttinen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fulgencio Eyague made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Ronaldinho Paranaense sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Aristide Ciuvică's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santtu Marttinen was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 90th match minute, JENIZAROS NEGROS PUNTANOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Etxekopar to maneuver through the defense. Santtu Marttinen came out of the goal and Zeledon Savion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
