Casper Claes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Redha Elin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Lenny Clocheret hit a great ball. RS Wikowyje's Redha Elin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siebe Michiels in the 25th minute of play. RS Wikowyje's Wasyl Cwojdak managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Guillaume Bonte in the 28 minute of the game. If Bogdan Fikus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Redha Elin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. If Bogdan Fikus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Belgium's Casper Claes got control of the ball when Bogdan Fikus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arkadiusz Damaski in the 36th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Redha Elin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bogdan Fikus was the one to do the kick off. Korneliusz Bejger hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Fikus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Damaski in the 62nd minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Guillaume Bonte. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Fikus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Redha Elin made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by RS Wikowyje's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgium's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Simon Sabbe heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Fikus in the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Yves Dervaux reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Redha Elin. The goal made the score 3-1. 85 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Redha Elin. RS Wikowyje's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vanderstraeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. RS Wikowyje's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of RS Wikowyje:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Belgium:s goal. In the 98th minute, Belgium got a penalty, and Edward Vanderstraeten placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post.
