The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dariusz Misiewicz got a throw-in 7 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Leo Campana. Dariusz Misiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Chris Nygaard struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Herbert Oliszewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. Kenn Skou made in the 15th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bertram Svenningsen however managed to control. A hard shot 18 in the game by Leo Campana from a close distance when the talented Keld Paulsen managed to make a qualified save. Denmark's players were relieved. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Bertram Svenningsen hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Leo Campana put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Keld Paulsen. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Leo Campana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kenn Skou during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of KS LEW Chorzów booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenn Skou didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leo Campana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mathias Ludvigsen during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, Mathias Ludvigsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leo Campana took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Edgar Degas made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Roland Muusik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS LEW Chorzów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Denmark's Lars Steen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jakub Zjawin, made in the 56th minute of the game. A collision led to KS LEW Chorzów getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Leo Campana hit a great ball. In the 60th minute Edgar Degas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Campana came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Campana in the 63rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Degas in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keld Paulsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Leo Campana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Denmark booed when KS LEW Chorzów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dariusz Misiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. KS LEW Chorzów's Leo Campana got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Dariusz Misiewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chris Nygaard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Herbert Oliszewski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 93rd minute, Leo Campana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keld Paulsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. The KS LEW Chorzów support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
