In the 5th minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Alexa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the TAXI-MM- defense, Lars Meesters kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Alexa. The TAXI-MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Alexa should have stopped the shot. After 10 minutes TAXI-MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Alexa having to interfere. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Martin Alexa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. TAXI-MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stig-Åke Mager in the 19th minute. TAXI-MM-'s Martin Alexa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 21st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Yuan Di Xing took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Arnout Reekers to make any attempt to save it. Robert Baita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Niculae Boltașu sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Alexa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Lăzărescu came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Lăzărescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Martin Alexa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 37th minute of the match. After 38 minutes TAXI-MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Egbert Nijveldt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Martin Alexa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 40th match minute, TAXI-MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Filipoiu to maneuver through the defense. After 41 played minutes TAXI-MM- got a freekick which was hit by Yuan Di Xing. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 49th minute of play forced TAXI-MM-'s goalkeeper Martin Alexa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. TAXI-MM-'s Martin Alexa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 55th minute of play. Martin Alexa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 57th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Martin Alexa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 69th match minute, TAXI-MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Filipoiu to maneuver through the defense. After 74 minutes of play, TAXI-MM-'s Yuan Di Xing made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Wim Wilmes sped through TAXI-MM-'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Martin Alexa. Wim Wilmes might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Alexa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wim Wilmes ran back to his position shaking his head. Wim Wilmes came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Martin Alexa could save by the left post. With a little luck, TAXI-MM-'s Martin Alexa got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Yuan Di Xing came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yuan Di Xing in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The TAXI-MM- fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when TAXI-MM-'s Yuan Di Xing looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuan Di Xing in the 88th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the game, TAXI-MM-'s Octav Zamfirescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. In the 94th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bas Tuitert to maneuver through the defense. TAXI-MM-'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
