Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 2 minutes into the match, Zigmantas Gimbutas notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Quintino Carvalhais kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Janik Vogt during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janik Vogt to maneuver through the defense. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 12th minute of play. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Zigmantas Gimbutas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zigmantas Gimbutas really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After 15 minutes of play, SC Braga's Quintino Carvalhais made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 19th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Antonio Adán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Quintino Carvalhais scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 29th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Antonio Adán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 30th minute of the game was made by Yan Zhan Cheng with Gastão Veiga as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Zigmantas Gimbutas tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Sven Krakouer fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Sven Krakouer a yellow card for diving instead. Sven Krakouer kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Quintino Carvalhais managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Braga's supporters rose to their feet, but Quintino Carvalhais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 41st minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zigmantas Gimbutas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Zigmantas Gimbutas made the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, SC Braga's Zigmantas Gimbutas made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Donato Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Zigmantas Gimbutas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. When Albin Holweck fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Albin Holweck a yellow card for diving instead. Albin Holweck hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute Zigmantas Gimbutas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Braga's Zigmantas Gimbutas. But to his dismay, Zigmantas Gimbutas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Sampaio in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zigmantas Gimbutas's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Sampaio in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that SC Braga were the better team. SC Braga's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
