Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ján Krempašský made the kick off which started today's match. Miroslav Motuz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. David Eikelkamp hit a great ball. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orhan Veli Mirac in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Mathijn Doctor got a free kick in the 14th minute. Ján Krempašský's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Arnout Reekers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Miroslav Motuz came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Lars Meesters. But to his dismay, Lars Meesters quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Orhan Veli Mirac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orhan Veli Mirac in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 33rd minute of play forced FC XY's goalkeeper Miroslav Motuz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC XY's Miroslav Motuz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. FC XY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Gijsbert ter Kruimer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC XY's Miroslav Motuz did a great save. In the 38th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslav Motuz having to interfere. Wim Wilmes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miroslav Motuz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Netherlands were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Miroslav Motuz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 54th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. FC XY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. In the 60th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslav Motuz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orhan Veli Mirac's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnout Reekers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslav Motuz having to interfere. Kees Mooiweer kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 74th minute of play forced FC XY's goalkeeper Miroslav Motuz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orhan Veli Mirac, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Orhan Veli Mirac came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by FC XY's Orhan Veli Mirac. But to his dismay, Orhan Veli Mirac quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslav Motuz having to interfere. Miroslav Motuz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the game, David Eikelkamp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Netherlands's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC XY the free kick. In the 89th minute, David Eikelkamp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Lars Meesters got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
