Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gerd Müller made the kick off and thus started the match. Benjamim Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siricio Liotta in the 5th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the game, Siricio Liotta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Benjamim Dante was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. After 10 minutes Italy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chicão Amorim who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Chicão Amorim got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Flavio Vittori quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Dudu Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benjamim Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigfrido Auletta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Estrela Solitária's goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Benjamim Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sigfrido Auletta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamim Dante didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zaccheo Andolina went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 42nd minute Dudu Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Estrela Solitária were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Italy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Chicão Amorim took the corner. In the 44th minute, Sostene Vitulli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerd Müller received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Flavio Vittori came out and tried to block the shot, but Gerd Müller slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaccheo Andolina was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Estrela Solitária's goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Benjamim Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 59th minute of play forced Estrela Solitária's goalkeeper Benjamim Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Benjamim Dante successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luiz Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamim Dante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 64th minute. A collision led to Estrela Solitária getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Pedro Luiz Ferreira hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Porziano Marchitelli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamim Dante. Estrela Solitária's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Porziano Marchitelli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 82nd minute, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benjamim Dante. Benjamim Dante yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. 86 minutes into the match, Estrela Solitária's goalkeeper Benjamim Dante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adriano Curto. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Estrela Solitária's goalkeeper Benjamim Dante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Guiscardo Davide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guiscardo Davide received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benjamim Dante came out and tried to block the shot, but Guiscardo Davide slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 94th minute. Italy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
