Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niki Van Collenborgh hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Limitless Delux Edition™ defense, Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yannis Specht. The Limitless Delux Edition™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yannis Specht should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Limitless Delux Edition™'s zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yannis Specht came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Limitless Delux Edition™ booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Eikelkamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Limitless Delux Edition™:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Netherlands:s goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Gijsbert ter Kruimer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yannis Specht having to make a save. Wim Wilmes scored 0-6 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yannis Specht, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Yannis Specht made a huge save. After 81 minutes, Wim Wilmes mouthed his way into the referee's book.
