When Egbert Nijveldt fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Arnout Reekers was a little too slow when Fortunato Pazienza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. Aragorn's Elian Müller got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elian Müller in the 14th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Cuarto, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Andrés Casado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. Andrés Casado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. 37 minutes into the match, Aragorn's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Andrés Casado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Cuarto in the 40th minute of play. After 41 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrés Casado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fortunato Pazienza in the 44th minute. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Cuarto in the 45th minute of play.

A collision led to Aragorn getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Feliks Orszak hit a great ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrés Casado having to interfere. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elian Müller in the 58th minute of play. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elian Müller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Pazienza in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Cuarto in the 71st minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Pazienza in the 86th minute of the match. Ovidio Cuarto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnout Reekers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Ovidio Cuarto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aragorn's Fortunato Pazienza got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 94 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Wim Wilmes. Andrés Casado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 96th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wim Wilmes in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrés Casado saved Aragorn from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Netherlands eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
