Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Deng Yue Zhen started the match with the kick off. The throw-in from Fabricio Andrade in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Batalhão do Peçanha's Zézinho Veloso. Epaminondas Baba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Bruno Bastos in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Batalhão do Peçanha's Deng Yue Zhen. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deng Yue Zhen in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Deng Yue Zhen got free with Wilson Amorim in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deng Yue Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, Fabricio Andrade threw the ball into play from the sideline. Batalhão do Peçanha's Vânderson Vasconcelos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deng Yue Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes of play, Batalhão do Peçanha's Deng Yue Zhen made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Deng Yue Zhen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the game, Barr Eira threw the ball into play from the sideline. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 28 minutes into the match, Batalhão do Peçanha's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Petr Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Batalhão do Peçanha's Petr Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 33rd minute of play. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Deng Yue Zhen in the 34th minute. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Graciano Coutinho hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Faustino Almeida got a free kick in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viriato Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Felipe Barreto took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Petr Čech to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Bruno Bastos got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Deng Yue Zhen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Batalhão do Peçanha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After some careless play in the Batalhão do Peçanha defense, Felipe Barreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petr Čech. The Batalhão do Peçanha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petr Čech should have stopped the shot. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Petr Čech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Barreto in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the game, Felipe Barreto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Petr Čech was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Deng Yue Zhen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deng Yue Zhen took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deng Yue Zhen in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Deng Yue Zhen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Deng Yue Zhen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batalhão do Peçanha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deng Yue Zhen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 86th minute of play forced Batalhão do Peçanha's goalkeeper Petr Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Petr Čech successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Batalhão do Peçanha's Petr Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Batalhão do Peçanha were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
