Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dino Fortuna in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Vittori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enzo Luongo might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Vittori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mister Bean to make the kick off.
