If Song Di Xu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Song Di Xu in the 5th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Thanos Kalikis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Song Di Xu might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Song Di Xu ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Song Di Xu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Song Di Xu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the game, Daniel Moura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Πυργετός Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portugal the free kick. In the 14th minute, Daniel Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Song Di Xu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Πυργετός Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After some careless play in the Πυργετός Fc defense, Felipe Barreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucho Putin. The Πυργετός Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucho Putin should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Πυργετός Fc's goalkeeper Lucho Putin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanos Kalikis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Song Di Xu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47thth minute of the game Viriato Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Πυργετός Fc's Lucho Putin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Song Di Xu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felipe Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Lucho Putin made a huge save. Felipe Barreto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Lucho Putin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Πυργετός Fc's attentive Iker Blanco managed to snatch the ball when Faustino Almeida made a throw-in in the 55th minute of the game. Song Di Xu might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Song Di Xu ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Song Di Xu went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Song Di Xu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Song Di Xu in the 77th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Daniel Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Daniel Pimentel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Song Di Xu made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Song Di Xu scored 4-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Song Di Xu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A well-hit corner resulted in Anthimos Kousouridis heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.
