Tiburcio Gaueko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tosun Paşa in the 31st minute of the match. Tosun Paşa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Pero in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Tono prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vaqueteros FC were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Academia FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Venancio Victoro took the corner. Vaqueteros FC's Venancio Victoro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tiburcio Gaueko in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Leroy Sane hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Adan Haimar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The Academia FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
