Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Coronel Paredes started the match with the kick off. Coronel Paredes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 5 minutes, Lenny Clocheret mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belgium and the Calaflores FC. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Calaflores FC.'s Zenon Suarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenon Suarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 minutes Calaflores FC.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edward Vanderstraeten who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Nigel Devos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zenon Suarez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Calaflores FC.'s Zenon Suarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 14th minute of play. Zenon Suarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 31st match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yves Dervaux to maneuver through the defense. Calaflores FC. were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Belgium's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dionisio Zubizarreta took the corner. The corner led Calaflores FC.'s Dionisio Zubizarreta to fire away a dangerous shot which Casper Claes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Belgium's Yves Dervaux got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sander Dermaut kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Dionisio Zubizarreta fired a really elegant long shot, but Casper Claes threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Zenon Suarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 42nd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Vanderstraeten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aymerick Laporte in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Calaflores FC.'s goalkeeper Zenon Suarez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coronel Paredes in the 58th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Zenon Suarez in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zenon Suarez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 62nd minute. If Jesús Martín had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casper Claes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dionisio Zubizarreta went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 84th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenon Suarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zenon Suarez was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 92 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Vanderstraeten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Belgium's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
