Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Henric Villaquiran made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaskon Gimeno in the 3rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Naldo Roig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Picanya FC's Guilabertus Martinez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Picanya FC's Henric Villaquiran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Meesters to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Picanya FC's Gaskon Gimeno ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 27th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Roig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Picanya FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Naldo Roig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Picanya FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Iratze Lillo hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Arnout Reekers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 44th minute of play forced Picanya FC's goalkeeper Naldo Roig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Picanya FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Picanya FC! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Naldo Roig made a huge save. The supporters of Picanya FC booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Eikelkamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregory Bermejo in the 66th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaskon Gimeno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. Naldo Roig acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 75th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaskon Gimeno in the 79th minute of play. In the 85th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Roig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Naldo Roig made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 89th minute of play forced Picanya FC's goalkeeper Naldo Roig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naldo Roig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 91st minute of the match. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Picanya FC's Gaskon Gimeno. But to his dismay, Gaskon Gimeno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Roig having to interfere. Picanya FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Netherlands for a fine match.
