Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edward Vanderstraeten kicked off to start the match. The throw-in from Guillaume Bonte in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Gullegem's Pierre-Paul Callaerts. Mats Vanooteghem hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the FC Gullegem defense, Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Axell Verduin. The FC Gullegem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Axell Verduin should have stopped the shot. Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. Belgium were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after FC Gullegem's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edward Vanderstraeten took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Edward Vanderstraeten got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Axell Verduin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Simon Sabbe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axell Verduin having to interfere. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnaba Pilsudski in the 43rd minute of the match.

FC Gullegem made a substitution. Waut Du Molin replaced Emanuel De Roest. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Barnaba Pilsudski was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Barnaba Pilsudski notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Belgium's Casper Claes. Casper Claes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnaba Pilsudski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barnaba Pilsudski scored 2-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casper Claes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Belgium's Lenny Clocheret managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Joe Vandamme in the 63 minute of the game. After 72 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Axell Verduin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Barnaba Pilsudski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Barnaba Pilsudski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 83rd minute of play forced FC Gullegem's goalkeeper Axell Verduin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Pilsudski in the 84th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, FC Gullegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mats Vanooteghem to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Belgium could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Gullegem throughout the match.
