Adam Adamski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 20th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wim Wilmes in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam Adamski saved Sociedad Anónima from getting behind. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adam Adamski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 30th minute of the match. It was a well-played corner which Lars Meesters managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 36 minutes into the match, Sociedad Anónima's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Adam Adamski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Netherlands's Wim Wilmes in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sociedad Anónima's goalie prevented a goal. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 43rd minute. Goizeder Cepeda hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Adamski having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Sociedad Anónima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Moura to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Sociedad Anónima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Cubillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adam Adamski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 72ndth minute of the game Lars Meesters who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sociedad Anónima's Adam Adamski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Larren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sociedad Anónima made a substitution. Fernandez Montoto replaced Edelmiro Carulla. Sociedad Anónima were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Innocenzio Sesse took the corner. After taking down the ball on Sociedad Anónima's corner Innocenzio Sesse fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. In the 80th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Adamski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Innocenzio Sesse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Stefan Kjellqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great ball. Innocenzio Sesse, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Sociedad Anónima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berriotxoa Asteguieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Sociedad Anónima's Fernandez Montoto. But to his dismay, Fernandez Montoto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Sociedad Anónima succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Netherlands had controlled the match.
