In the 7th minute, Frank Sachs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornelio Tabb was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 11 minutes into the game, Chris Mergenthaler threw the ball into play from the sideline. Terremoto FC's Ezequiel Montay quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Elvio Sanson kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 14 minutes of play, Germany's Albin Holweck made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornelio Tabb was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 18 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Linus Schwerner. Bruno Hechter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Germany were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Terremoto FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frank Sachs took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Malte Schiele managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Frank Sachs scored 0-3 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cornelio Tabb, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cornelio Tabb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 28th minute of play. Terremoto FC's Cornelio Tabb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 30th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Linus Schwerner in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Terremoto FC's Miguel Orlondon. A throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game was made by Malte Schiele with Frank Sachs as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 46 minutes in the game Willy Stieler did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Albin Holweck. When Chris Mergenthaler fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Chris Mergenthaler a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th minute, Chris Mergenthaler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Tabb having to interfere. Terremoto FC's Cornelio Tabb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 54th minute of play. Terremoto FC's Miguel Orlondon managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Willy Stieler in the 59 minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Cornelio Tabb in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 62 minutes into the match, Terremoto FC's goalkeeper Cornelio Tabb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. Cornelio Tabb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornelio Tabb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Ulrich Stein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Terremoto FC's attentive Ezequiel Montay managed to snatch the ball when Chris Mergenthaler made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Germany's Willy Stieler got a free kick in the 78th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Cornelio Tabb successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Willy Stieler got a throw-in 90 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Albin Holweck. Cornelio Tabb made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 93rd minute. Ovidio Belmiro got a throw-in 95 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Bruno Hechter. The Germany supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Germany would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
