After some careless play in the SV Balverliefd defense, Zaccheo Andolina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yorrick Zoethout. The SV Balverliefd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yorrick Zoethout should have stopped the shot. After having played for 19 minutes, Melker Gudmundsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Balverliefd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melker Gudmundsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Yorrick Zoethout successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Heiko Iepstra during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Italy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
