Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tiger Argoud started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Derman Akdağ narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after TÜRKİSTAN 61's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Lars Meesters got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Derman Akdağ quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiger Argoud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Tiger Argoud sent off a good shot on target. Derman Akdağ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 18th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Derman Akdağ was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İslam Yerel, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt got a free kick in the 24th minute. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Tiger Argoud tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Derman Akdağ was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Bas Tuitert fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Netherlands's protests and gave Bas Tuitert a yellow card for diving instead. Derman Akdağ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, TÜRKİSTAN 61's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Derman Akdağ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TÜRKİSTAN 61's Derman Akdağ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute José Luis Esparza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th match minute, TÜRKİSTAN 61 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hacı Ali Ulunay to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Derman Akdağ was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İslam Yerel in the 60th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, TÜRKİSTAN 61's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Derman Akdağ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, TÜRKİSTAN 61's goalkeeper Derman Akdağ had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. In the 69th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wim Wilmes to maneuver through the defense. Derman Akdağ came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Bas Tuitert hit a great ball. Zdzislaw Trynda struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TÜRKİSTAN 61. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Derman Akdağ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Bas Tuitert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, İslam Yerel notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiger Argoud in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. In the 90th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathijn Doctor to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 94th minute of play forced TÜRKİSTAN 61's goalkeeper Derman Akdağ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wim Wilmes might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Derman Akdağ. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wim Wilmes ran back to his position shaking his head. Derman Akdağ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Netherlands walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
