Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Switzerland's Samuele Kunz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Rodrigo von Känel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lech Puszynski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Hias Nüssli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Przemyslaw Galagan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo von Känel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eric Thomi kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Jacinto Maurer made a precise shot to the right of Emil Latkiewicz. Majachun's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Emil Latkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuele Kunz in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emil Latkiewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Switzerland's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ignacy Poreda was slow to take the kick. During this time Majachun's players had a chance to rest. 44 minutes into the game, Witomir Czubski threw the ball into play from the sideline. Switzerland's Federico Wiesendanger quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Beniamin Pawlak during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Majachun getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Beniamin Pawlak hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuele Kunz in the 46th minute of play forced Majachun's goalkeeper Emil Latkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lech Puszynski made a kick off. 58 minutes into the game, Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emil Latkiewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 61st minute, Timo Siegmund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Samuele Kunz came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Switzerland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuele Kunz couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the game, Witomir Czubski threw the ball into play from the sideline. Switzerland's Federico Wiesendanger quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A sloppy throw-in by Szczepan Rzeszutko in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Switzerland's Eric Thomi. Jaroslaw Dembkowski's late challenge caught a Switzerland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaroslaw Dembkowski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th match minute, Switzerland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Maurer to maneuver through the defense. Samuele Kunz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Emil Latkiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pawel Mielak charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With his leg Emil Latkiewicz managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Switzerland's Samuele Kunz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 95th minute, Rodrigo von Känel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Switzerland played a much better game than Majachun and deserved their victory. The Majachun players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
