The Wolfpack™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesper Svensson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jerom Verhaert's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerom Verhaert helped the player get up and apologised. Didier Schollens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Szekeres Tamas hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, The Wolfpack™'s Alek Justus got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Didier Schollens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jesper Svensson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute Jesper Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jesper Svensson was the one to do the kick off. In the 64th match minute, The Wolfpack™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerom Verhaert to maneuver through the defense. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didier Schollens having to interfere. Didier Schollens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 70th minute of the match. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesper Svensson in the 71st minute of play. Szekeres Tamas hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The Wolfpack™'s Didier Schollens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save The Wolfpack™ from getting a goal against them. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
