Damián Martínez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tottenham Hotspurs made a substitution. Eustaquio Marques replaced Ferenc Puskás. The throw-in from Vasile Ciumak in the 82nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tottenham Hotspurs's Jura Zaklan. In the 84th minute, Anton Stinga fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Damián Martínez, passed just outside the right post. Damián Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Stinga in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of Romania booed when Tottenham Hotspurs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiliam Saliba didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Romania left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tottenham Hotspurs.
