Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Frank Sachs made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Samurai's Morgan Vassenius got a free kick in the 4th minute. Hernán Grana might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hernán Grana ran back to his position shaking his head. After 10 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Allan Bivall who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Allan Bivall almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. After 14 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wu Qi in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Samurai's Wu Qi got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Chris Mergenthaler fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Chris Mergenthaler a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 19th minute. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Marcus Skytt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute, Wu Qi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, Marcus Skytt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcus Skytt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Wu Qi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wu Qi went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Germany's Linus Schwerner got a free kick in the 34th minute. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Marcus Skytt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcus Skytt really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Albin Holweck struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Vince Di Cola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wu Qi went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Tommy Kahn was a little too slow when Marcus Skytt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 7-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.
The wind increased when Wu Qi made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcus Skytt scored 8-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wu Qi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wu Qi, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wu Qi in the 63rd minute of play. When Samurai's Wu Qi in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. Vince Di Cola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76thth minute of the game Wu Qi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Wu Qi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Samurai made a substitution. Esbjörn Hultstrand replaced Wu Qi. Samurai made a substitution. Terry Silver replaced Hernán Grana. After having played for 89 minutes, Timmy Henriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samurai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timmy Henriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samurai's Abram Cadabra quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Chris Mergenthaler, made in the 91st minute of the game. Samurai's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
