Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Kent Klint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 6th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, NK Dubrava Zagreb's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Kent Klint reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 minutes NK Dubrava Zagreb's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Kent Klint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 18th minute of play. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Kent Klint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. NK Dubrava Zagreb's Tage Myrholm quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gust Ennemans, made in the 22nd minute of the game. 27 minutes into the match, NK Dubrava Zagreb's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Kent Klint reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 29th minute. In the 31st match minute, NK Dubrava Zagreb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Mariano to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kent Klint quite easily take care of the ball. In the 35th minute, Ludo Lambert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind NK Dubrava Zagreb's goalkeeper Kent Klint, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 44th minute of play forced NK Dubrava Zagreb's goalkeeper Kent Klint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Gust Ennemans in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by NK Dubrava Zagreb's Tage Myrholm.

The wind increased when Kazimir Pendo made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in NK Dubrava Zagreb's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kent Klint came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mathijn Doctor kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. NK Dubrava Zagreb's attentive Tage Myrholm managed to snatch the ball when Gust Ennemans made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. In the 65th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 68 minutes, Antun Zahora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NK Dubrava Zagreb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antun Zahora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Antun Zahora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 75 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Kent Klint successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in NK Dubrava Zagreb's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kent Klint came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gordan Sedmak might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnout Reekers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gordan Sedmak ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gordan Sedmak in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. In the 91st minute, Antun Zahora ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, Gordan Sedmak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal and Gordan Sedmak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. The NK Dubrava Zagreb players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
