Kingpins's Christer Fernström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 14th minute of play. Per-Oskar Olsman kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 20th minute of play forced Kingpins's goalkeeper Christer Fernström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st match minute, Kingpins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Oskar Olsman to maneuver through the defense. Takacs Tibor hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 1-0 became the score in the 25th minute when Bo Kruuse elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, Hungary's Major Barna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The referee ignored Kingpins's protests and gave Chris Lindstrøm a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute, Chris Lindstrøm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Fernström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. Ger Berdennikov kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Hungary's Christer Fernström threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Major Barna, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The corner led Kingpins's Roger Västerstrand to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Västerstrand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute of the match, Antal Valentin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Christer Fernström was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kingpins's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Kruuse in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Vörös Henrik got a free kick in the 85th minute. Rickard Lundgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Kruuse in the 91st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kingpins's Emanuel Ogazón got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After a rather tough play, Kingpins's Armin Trabucco got a free kick in the 95th minute. Hungary were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
