The coaching staff of France protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Maxence Durand had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Maxence Durand hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdullatif Zafer in the 16th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celil Ümran came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maxime Durand could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Robert Chapuis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sufi Hanönü was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. 62 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Celil Ümran came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baran Bilge Başeski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hafız Muhteşem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Camille Baume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, ErbaA KartaLı could leave the field as winners, despite France having more of the ball for most of the match.
