A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Fabricio Andrade hit a great ball. When Presiyan Mitikov fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's protests and gave Presiyan Mitikov a yellow card for diving instead. Presiyan Mitikov kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Don Cabezon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Don Cabezon scored 2-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Dacian Nițescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 21st minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Dacian Nițescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Viriato Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Rodolfo Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Don Cabezon in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Moura made a kick off. Caetano Moreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Dacian Nițescu made a huge save. Dacian Nițescu came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Felipe Barreto. But to his dismay, Felipe Barreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don Cabezon, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 73rdth minute of the game Viriato Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Dacian Nițescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Portugal fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Portugal's Viriato Moura looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Dede Akmal was substituted for Ardy Pakubuwono. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Gorri Sañudo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rodolfo Miranda, made in the 78th minute of the game. Bartolomeu Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartolomeu Dias in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dacian Nițescu saved AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC from getting behind. In the 86th minute Dede Akmal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipinho Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipinho Amorim got free with Dacian Nițescu in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95thth minute of the game Dewa Warauw who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
