Santiago Sartori kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogelio Montez in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Ascaso saved Spain from getting behind. When the match was over Spain could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Espen Steelers throughout the match.
