An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 14th minute of play forced AC米兰's goalkeeper Fu Feng Chong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by 何威庭 in the 15th minute. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, 何威庭 took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Fodor Daniel to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the AC米兰 defense, Hegedus Henrik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fu Feng Chong. The AC米兰 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fu Feng Chong should have stopped the shot. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vinícius Junior in the 30th minute. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fu Feng Chong having to interfere. A collision led to AC米兰 getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. 郝夕建 hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the game, 曾威梁 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC米兰's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. In the 38th match minute, AC米兰 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 曾威梁 to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 何威庭 was the one to do the kick off. Antal Valentin in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fu Feng Chong, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 56 in the game by Balazs Lajos from a close distance when the talented Fu Feng Chong managed to make a qualified save. AC米兰's players were relieved. Sven-Ove Mattsson hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Fu Feng Chong made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. 77 minutes into the match, AC米兰's Vinícius Junior sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sven-Ove Mattsson hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Fu Feng Chong in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fu Feng Chong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Fu Feng Chong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. After having played for 96 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
