When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, 何威庭 put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. AC米兰's Fu Feng Chong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save AC米兰 from getting a goal against them. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fu Feng Chong read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. AC米兰's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
