After 21 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Mathijn Doctor. In the 32nd minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwo Domarecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iwo Domarecki. Spartan FC Mogilany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Wojciech Skaradowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnout Reekers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. Iwo Domarecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
