Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tory Pryor started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Lionel Paly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 7 minutes of play, FC Wil 1900's Tory Pryor made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casper Claes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emery Heller hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tory Pryor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lionel Paly narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lionel Paly, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pirmin Jäggi. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tory Pryor in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Lionel Paly. FC Wil 1900's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 33 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lionel Paly narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute of the match Belgium got a corner. FC Wil 1900's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Belgium's Lenny Clocheret to fire away a dangerous shot which Lionel Paly despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yves Dervaux in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lionel Paly prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lionel Paly read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lionel Paly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tory Pryor in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casper Claes saved Belgium from getting behind. Lionel Paly came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2.

The wind increased when Edward Vanderstraeten made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Lionel Paly in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 59 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lionel Paly had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. 60 minutes into the game, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lionel Paly made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lionel Paly. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Lionel Paly in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Casper Claes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tory Pryor's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute of the match FC Wil 1900 got a corner. Belgium's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emilio De Luca ran over to the corner to take the kick. Emilio De Luca made a great header on FC Wil 1900's corner, it was just that Belgium's Casper Claes managed to reach the ball for a save. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Lionel Paly made a huge save. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Lionel Paly made a huge save. Lionel Paly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yves Dervaux in the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Ivan Dové was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Wil 1900's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgium the free kick. Edward Vanderstraeten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nigel Devos to maneuver through the defense. Belgium's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
