Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jurek Dudek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Bitcoin Elbląg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigiusz Klimkiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jurek Dudek. Bitcoin Elbląg's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. Prudencio Laurgain might have been able to make a better finish in the 50th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnout Reekers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
