Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) x-TreM KiLLerSS's Ştefan Sinulescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gigel Tudor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gigel Tudor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 5th minute of play. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ştefan Sinulescu in the 13th minute. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Chira in the 17th minute of play. x-TreM KiLLerSS's Gigel Tudor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 20th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Ştefan Sinulescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnout Reekers, 1-0. Ştefan Sinulescu in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnout Reekers, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Ştefan Sinulescu scored 2-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Ştefan Sinulescu sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mirel Lovera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, Nicolae Chira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolae Chira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 53rd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gigel Tudor. The goal made the score 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Gigel Tudor in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute Marco van Basten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. x-TreM KiLLerSS's Gigel Tudor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Sinulescu came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gigel Tudor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 66th minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, x-TreM KiLLerSS's goalkeeper Gigel Tudor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. After a defensive mix-up in x-TreM KiLLerSS's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gigel Tudor came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gigel Tudor made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. 76 minutes into the game, x-TreM KiLLerSS's Marco van Basten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Gustaaf Groeneveldt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gigel Tudor having to make a save. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by x-TreM KiLLerSS's Nicolae Chira. But to his dismay, Nicolae Chira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. After 90 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Mathijn Doctor. In the 90th minute, Marco van Basten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Lars Meesters's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gigel Tudor was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Netherlands's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
